Dozer |
 |
Name: Dozer
Sex: Male
Dozer earned his name early as a pup, never being satisfied
until he could hang out and run with the much older adult kennel
mates. Dozer is a 95 pound blend of big and athletic.
He has a confident, low-key temperament. He has proven to
be an outstanding hunting companion and has sired some great
pups. "Brooke Pointing" on our home page, is one of Dozer's
pups. "Duke" is a son of Dozer as well. |

Hank |

Name: Hank
Sex Male
Hank is "The Leader
of the Pack." Without
a doubt, he is a bird hunting machine. He's quick to find
birds in light or heavy cover. He has exceptional strength
and agility. Don’t let the big guy fool you. He
comes with a leadership personality and a gentle swagger around
his handler. Pups from Hank have not disappointed.

demeanor. She is the daughter of Sauk River's Feather

Lady is a wonderful dog. She
was whelped February 2003 and has grown into a fine looking
girl. She is a product of our own Mike lines, similar to
Hank, which have
produced some of our best performing dogs. |

Griz |

Sex: Male
Griz is a great addition to our kennels. He is from the
Warbucks line Frank Miller had at Masada Kennels. He's owned by our
rep Brian Petermeier, and he's proven to be a top notch hunter
and retriever. At 100 pounds, he is solid and strong
as well as agile. Griz was whelped in August, 2004 and we
have already had many great hunting adventures with him,
and look forward to many more.

Sugar also came to us from Masada
Kennels in 2005. Sugar is named right, because of her
sweet-heart-of-a-gal temperament. Her beautiful white
traditional lab coat have brought in some outstanding litters.
Our customers have loved her and her pups looks and performance.

Smokey

Smokey is our only black lab at this time. She is the
unofficial “Queen” of Tamarack. Smokey represents a truly
“smart” dog. Comments about her range from being one of the
most beautiful labs people have seen, to comments about how keen
her awareness is in the field. Make sure to keep track of a

Lucy has been with us since Easter
2003. She is a smaller version of many of our other dogs.
At 65 pounds, she has the strength and stamina to hunt all day.
She has a fun, care free personality. Look at her here on
point after a fresh snow. |

Duke has the best of what both
Dozer and Smokey had to offer. He has a wonderful demeanor
and impressive physical characteristics. Pam has
single-handedly worked with Duke and he turns heads wherever he
goes. Duke has proven to be a fine hunter. He's at
home in light or heavy cover, or in water. Pups that he
has sired have been great as hunters and as family companions. |

Katie is a solid female.
She has a wonderful traditional lab temperament, yet the energy
of an all day hunter. We've found Katie to be one of our
best mom's too. She does a great job of nurturing her
pups.

Bear |

Sex: Male
Bear is a litter mate to Griz.
They both are the products of a litter from Masada Kennel's
Warbucks line. Warbucks is a top-performing chocolate sire
in an excellent line produced by Frank Miller. Bear is an
awesome hunter on land or water, and has a fantastic nose.
Bear is owned by our son, Chris, who has worked and hunted with
him since he was a pup. Bear is an unforgettable dog once
you see him and hunt over him.

Daisy

Daisy is a product of Tamarack
Kennels Duke and Lady. She has the background, stamina,
strength, hunting skills and attitude that set her apart from
many of dogs. Many people do a double take when they see
her for the first time, and they comment on her size and
wonderful demeanor. |
